Our Mission
Act of Faith Productions exists to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music, dance and drama.
The motivation behind Act of Faith is taken from 2 Corinthians ch 5 v 7 where we are called to “walk by faith, not by sight”.
Past Productions
An Act of Faith
In March 2014, local farmer, Ally Gray, reserved a spot at Eastwood Theatre with a vision – to share the story of salvation in a contemporary, unique way. From this, ‘An Act of Faith’ was born – a musical production which followed the story of a young girl simply living in this world. The cast of 24 young Christians, aged 16-30, aimed to portray the true love of Jesus Christ, as well as the struggles of sin in life. This production gave birth to the ministry, ‘Act of Faith’.

New Day
The Act of Faith cast performed an original musical, 'New Day', to over 2000 people across 4 local theatres in the Spring of 2016. The show followed the experience of three friends in their search for answers as they faced grief, a struggle with identity and unexpected illness. The musical aimed to encourage the audience to consider each day in a new light.

Easter Production
This smaller-scale musical production was performed in March 2017 at New Craig Community Church. It aimed to portray the simple, yet profound, message – that Jesus took the punishment for our sins – through the characters of three school children.
Baby Boy
At the end of 2017, the Act of Faith team wrote and performed the Christmas musical, ‘Baby Boy’, at Cartsbridge Evangelical Church. It follows a family of 5 as they celebrate this special time of year together. Each character has their own idea of how Christmas should be, and the stress of the day brings to light some deeper issues within the family. It is light-hearted, yet challenging, remembering where it all began.
A revised version of Baby Boy took to the stage once again in December 2018 with sell out performances at two local churches.
James is the leader of the pack. His organisational skills and ability to see things from a Godly perspective make him an effective leader for the ministry. He has been ‘dragged’ from the football pitch to the stage, allowing him to use gifts he never knew he had. He works as a Health and Safety Advisor, and has recently become a dad to Joel, leaving him with little spare time and sleep!
